Lulworth Cove UK Engagement - Richard Skins

I’ve always wanted to do a photoshoot at Lulworth Cove & Durdledoor as it’s right on my doorstep and is truly stunning! So when Molly told me Lulworth Cove is the place where Alex proposed, it felt like the perfect time to go. It had been raining all that day, but I put my confidence in the weatherman when he said it would clear and we heading out, as soon as we arrived the sun shone out from the clouds and we had an exceptional sunset, a perfect fitting to the beautiful surroundings.

A Rainy Sheffield Gardens Engagement - Christopher Ian Photography

Grace and Andy planned to meet me for their engagement in sheffield for a nice country walk, but once again the weather had other plans! We did a very small tour of the gardens and the rain become torrential, but we still managed to find places for us to take shelter and get some amazing images.

Yorkshire Sculpture Park Engagement - Christopher Ian Photography

A super sunny bright day in early 2016 for Diana and Adams engagement shoot in the stunning Yorkshire sculpture park, these two were a little apprehensive at first but soon got into the fun of things. We explored the grounds and found quiet places for us to have some awesome photos in. I love to produce natural, heartfelt images and i do this by putting the clients at ease, showing them that being in front of the camera can be really fun, natural and produce amazing results. Check these two amazingly warm, affectionate couple out:

Best of 2015 - Richard Skins

2015 you have been outstanding! I’ve been very lucky that I’ve met some truly inspiring couples that have made it a pleasure to photograph weddings the length & breadth of the country. From Claire & David’s misty wedding on the Cornwall coast to photographing the lovely Dan & Sarah’s wedding at Kingscote Barn; and especially my very close friends Simon & Jo’s wedding in my hometown, incredible!!!! I’ve also met some lovely people in the wedding industry that have helped me make my mind up that this is definitely what I want to do for the very considerable future! I have some absolutely amazing weddings lined up in 2016, I’m looking forward to taking everything I have learned this year to make sure every couple gets something special.

Destination Engagement Photography in New York City by Francesco Spighi

Destination Engagement Photography in New York City

On the past October I got the opportunity to do some Engagement Photography in New York City, while I was there to shoot this wedding. I met N. and F. under the Brooklyn Bridge, it was a cold and windy. We didn’t have the opportunity  to spend much time together, but it was enough to get pretty nice shots using the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline as amazing background. The two guys were a bit shy, but really in love and it was pretty easy to find a great connection and work with them, and despite the small time we had fun together. Enjoy my selection!

Engagement session in Cormons, Italy - Aleks Kus

As wedding photographers we always had some kind of desire to get clients who are deeply connected and in love with each other, so that photos could speak for themselves. Eva & Sebastian are that kind of couple. We did an engagement session in the beautiful countryside of Italy. We discovered this location by accident a few years back and we wanted to do something with it. Spirit of Tuscany, surrounded with wineyards that were exposed to the sun in an old village named Cormons.

2015 the year that was! I have had such an incredible time in 2015 capturing so many couples happy day and traveling this broad country, it fills me with great joy to see people married in amazing places to even more amazing people. I have traveled to South Wales, the Lake District, London, Cheshire and met celebrities like Kit Harrington at one wedding in Somerset. The real stars though were the people, I am happy to say I have made many friends this year from the weddings I have captured, ones I will stay in contact with for years to come.

I loved using the natural environments in all the places i visited for the backdrop of my photography, my couples really love the outdoors and using natural light and keeping things as unposed as possible, nothing fills my heart with more joy than to see two people being themselves in a beautiful environment.

Wedding Proposal in Florence - Italy - Francesco Spighi

Proposing in Florence can be  really challenging for all men coming here in Italy with the precise idea to go down on one knee, for THAT question: “will you take my hand in marriage?“. A good idea is to ask to your photographer to cooperate with you, to find the best place where  you’d like to do it (Ehi, I’m a photographer…and this was one of those cases!).  I met Ron and his fiancé in front of their Airbnb apartment and after walking a bit to break the ice that moment arrived…he pulled out the beautiful engagement ring from David Yurman and….do you want to know more? Engagement in Ruissalo, Turku - Jere Satamo

This set was shot in a beginning of February. We had a quite good wintery season going on and decided to shoot their engagement photos before snow will melt down. When we drove to our destination, sun was shining and weather was looking nice. Just when I took my camera from my bag, I noticed that there will be big fog coming from the sea. It wasn´t fog, it was true snowstorm that we faced, as you can see in the pics. It took 10 minutes and then it started to calm down. Luckily the sun started to shine again and we had an excellent photo session! Enjoy!
