Words cannot describe my feelings about this one. Serifos was a wonderful surprise for me. Jessica and Vincent’s strong love for Greece was another. A rather small boutique wedding, a low profile venue, simple but fabulous decorations, absolutely superb location. Somehow I knew that this occasion would be something else, and I was so right! I met so many lovely characters, worked side by side with an astonishing French videographer, was spoiled by a super effective wedding planner.. and I can just go on forever. Well, I should say with certainty that it all had to do with the magic aura of unspoiled Serifos, a tiny island in the Aegean sea that offered me a most wonderful experience, and a few friends that will definitely stay around for quite a while.

Santorini is undoubtedly among the top wedding destinations in the world, becoming the ultimate hotspot for newlyweds or engaged couples from all over the globe. Although there are times it can become extremely busy, it somehow still manages to maintain its unique energy that is paired with the unparalleled beauty of the dreamy surroundings. Eric and Geraldine are from Malaysia, and they always dreamed of eloping to this magical island. They got more than they wished for, by having a dream ceremony at the edge of the volcanic rock, the so called Caldera. What followed the ultra touching moments of the symbolic wedding, was three hours of non stop fun, excitement and pure happiness, some of the best ingredients for a successful photo shoot.
A metropolis of 15 million, the crossroads of east and west, one of the most significant cities in history. It is always a pleasure to work in Istanbul, where the eye stays unrest, and business easily becomes pleasure. George and Evi had every reason to celebrate their wedding at this extraordinary destination and they did it in great style. Friends and relatives who were lucky enough to experience this unique event, had the chance to taste some of the best that the city has to offer. The ceremony at the most significant institution for the Orthodox, amazing food served by one of Turkey’s most celebrated chefs, a long cruise at the Bosphorus, the reception at the most magical part of the city, a party that went wild till the early morning hours. What’s not to like about a wedding in amazing Istanbul? The couple prepared at the Marti Hotel, the wedding took place at the Patriarchal Church of St. George, and the Party at the Fuat Pasa Yalisi.
An important occasion full of touching moments, love, and affection. A warm family that made me feel part of it. Guests that could easily become friends for life. An alternative destination that could definitely be considered as one of the hidden gems of Greece. An outstanding hotel that would satisfy the most demanding guests. A perfect couple that put their soul into creating one of the most memorable occasions ever. Daniel & George’s wedding simply had it all! It was a mesmerising same sex wedding, at the amazing Kinsterna Hotel, in Sparta’s outstanding castle city of Monemvasia.
