What an incredible day this was for Kiran and Marks wedding at the Great Hall at Mains in Lancashire. Kiran and Mark had an indian and British mix theme to their day. Their wedding was very intimate but had so much colour, detail and emotion not even the cold march temperature could change that! an awesome day.

Wow what can i say about this wedding? this was one of my very first destination weddings and it was to the incredibly beautiful country of Geneva in Switzerland. Jamie and Elijah, amazing wedding photographers in their own right, chose me to be their photographer (an incredible honour!) to photograph their wedding atop of mount Geneva itself!
Their wedding plans were to be all focused on the outdoor elements in the vineyards as a backdrop and the amazing scenery and mountains behind, alas the weather turned and torrential rain washed away their original plans. The whole of the attending families pulled together and made the wedding happen, we used the barn next door and moved things around as much as we could. In between the weather stopped its torment and we dived outside for some great images and had an amazing time. A wedding i will never forget.
I met Lara and Ben in Brighton UK for their engagement shoot, we had planned to visit all the sights and sounds of the promenade and to enjoy the sunshine, then onto some awesome bike rides along beach front. Then, the heavens opened and created a cold, windy and wet day for us! This for me really adds to the drama of the images, darker and moody and, in my humble opinion, way more awesome! Having only owned the Harley for a few weeks Ben was eager to have a few images of him riding causally, but it turned into an epic cinematic day of dramatic puddle splashing and balls to the wall action, definitely a little unique (i.e. awesome) in an engagement shoot I thought! Lara and Bens wedding was in Somerset of the UK this year and was also an amazing day as well, that my friends is another story….
Nicola and Ben were married at Grittenham Barn farm in West Sussex during a wonderful warm summers day. They really wanted to have lots of vintage and country styling to their wedding. Nicola is a designer and designed all the amazing bunting, barn decorations/balloons and all the outdoor & lawn games. Ben is also a photographer so it was an amazing honour to be asked to capture his wedding. The barn situated in West Sussex is a stunning, picturesque surroundings in the countryside, perfect for hosting a natural vintage wedding.
Nicola arrived in a stunning vintage car and the ceremony held in the barn with close friends and family and then off to have fun in the farms grounds and vineyards. Make sure to check out Bens awesome dance moves in a few of the portrait photos… total legend. I cannot wait to return to Grittenham barn in the future, enjoy.
2015 the year that was! I have had such an incredible time in 2015 capturing so many couples happy day and traveling this broad country, it fills me with great joy to see people married in amazing places to even more amazing people. I have traveled to South Wales, the Lake District, London, Cheshire and met celebrities like Kit Harrington at one wedding in Somerset. The real stars though were the people, I am happy to say I have made many friends this year from the weddings I have captured, ones I will stay in contact with for years to come.
I loved using the natural environments in all the places i visited for the backdrop of my photography, my couples really love the outdoors and using natural light and keeping things as unposed as possible, nothing fills my heart with more joy than to see two people being themselves in a beautiful environment.
Jo and Luke had their wedding at Court Farm, Wiltshire in Somerset UK in the amazing summer heat, what a beautiful location it was! Set in the greenery of the countryside with a wedding full of homemade elements was an idyllic setting. It was a little shock to discover that attending the wedding day was none other than Kit Harrington ask Jon Snow of Games of Thrones fame!
Hana & Anders and my good self, traveled to the Long Mynd in Shropshire for their engagement shoot. The dramatic backdrop was amazing, to me it evokes emotion using such a dramatic landscape such as this. Typically visited in the summer it offers amazing views however in December, plus copious amounts of rain made it very dramatic indeed (I love a challenge though!). Anders originally from Sweden is having his entire family flown in for the wedding later this year for a wedding that I cannot wait to share.
Sam & Aden were married in the Lake District this past October at the heart of the Cumbrian mountains in the stunning Lake District. Same & Aden both had very clear ideas what they wanted out of their wedding photography, fine art and natural imagery with the dramatic surroundings. I love to explore and we agreed we would see where it took us. This area in the Lake District, among the mountains and fells is an incredible place of natural beauty, perfect for creating soulful elopement imagery.
