Best of 2015 - Richard Skins

2015 you have been outstanding! I’ve been very lucky that I’ve met some truly inspiring couples that have made it a pleasure to photograph weddings the length & breadth of the country. From Claire & David’s misty wedding on the Cornwall coast to photographing the lovely Dan & Sarah’s wedding at Kingscote Barn; and especially my very close friends Simon & Jo’s wedding in my hometown, incredible!!!! I’ve also met some lovely people in the wedding industry that have helped me make my mind up that this is definitely what I want to do for the very considerable future! I have some absolutely amazing weddings lined up in 2016, I’m looking forward to taking everything I have learned this year to make sure every couple gets something special.

Campsite in Ardeche wedding - Ambre Peyrotty

Tim and Farrah organized their elopement in Ardèche last September. Coming from London, they fell in love with the beautiful sites and sights of the Gorges de l’Ardèche, so they decided to say “I do” in front of the river with only 16 of their closest friends (kids included!). Despite the heavy rain and the cold, they managed to get some sun for their vows exchange! It was a really emotional day. When Farrah saw Tim waiting for her, she started crying and only stopped 15 minutes after the end of the ceremony! We then headed to a flooded beach to take pictures in front of an iconic landmark: the Pont d’Arc. It was pouring rain and we were as wet as wet can be, but their love was stronger than everything else. It was a truly magical day!

Elopement in Tuscan Countryside Italy - Francesco Spighi

Devon and Michael are from Sacramento, California; they decided to have a no-stress intimate wedding in Italy; just the two of them, amazing wine and food, and a lot of  romance was all they was looking for. Devon contacted me  telling about the Bohemian Elopement in Italy they was arranging; it seemed to me something magical  and I was really happy to work with them here in Tuscany, being their photographer.

All the day was amazing, starting from the getting ready to finish with the romantic candlelight dinner. They really look perfect together, and the Tuscan countryside was a stunning frame to take care about their love.
